Dr. Tom Leigh, retired emergency physician and long-time Estes Park resident, is running for the Estes Park Health District Board to restore trust, transparency, and quality care.

🩺 Why Dr. Leigh is Running

Estes Park Health is at a critical crossroads. With years of firsthand experience working in our hospital and deep ties to this community, Dr. Leigh has witnessed the growing gap between leadership and patient care. He’s running to ensure:

  • Transparent, accountable leadership

  • A healthier work environment for staff and providers

  • A stronger relationship between the hospital and the community

Open, honest conversations about the future of our health system

📋 What He Will Do

If elected, Dr. Leigh will:

  • Advocate for leadership changes that prioritize patients and staff

  • Push for regular employee satisfaction surveys to identify and fix issues

  • Ensure transparency in decisions, including any affiliation with outside organizations like UCHealth

  • Support restoring and preserving core services for an aging population

  • Work to eliminate toxic internal culture and rebuild a positive workplace

  • Fight for open communication between the board, hospital leadership, and the Estes Park community
